Ivan Leko | Dinamo Zagreb | Highlights | 2020-21

As a namesake of a famous Croatian coach and former player, Ivan Leko is the captain of a great generation of Dinamo Zagreb, featuring Bruno Bošnjak, Roko Drenski, Jakov Đurić, Mark Mihaylov, Maro Šeperac, Patrik Pervan, Luiz Gabriel Araujo Santos and so on.

Ivan normally plays as a centre-back, but he's able to play in the midfield as well. He distinguishes himself with his vision, aggresiveness, tough defence, passing ability, and dribbling skills, which somehow reminds me of Nikola Moro.

In 2019, Ivan won several big tournaments with Dinamo, and the most major ones were the Future Kids Cup and Minimasters Terme Čatež respectively took place in Austria and Slovenia, where they beat Austria Wien, Flyeralarm Admira, Sturm Graz, LASK Linz, Spartak Trnava, Hajduk Split, and Red Star away from home.

Last year, Ivan won Champions Trophy Croatia with his team. At the end of the year, his team also won the ZNS indoors tournament which was intended for the one-year-older players.
