Purchased by TNP, four knives from the brand serve for the review: Ratmandu CG, Rodent 6, Rodent 9, and Rodent Solution. Talked about in the video is the SR-101 steel performance, chipping, handle designs, differences from the similar Scrapyard line, POUs, value, grinds, pricing, lack of sheaths, weight, balance, and feel among many other considerations. Several outstanding Red Hill Kydex sheaths are shown that were bought for these blades; turning them into truly semi-custom survival knives with purpose. Unfortunately these blades experienced a sizeable price increase in 2013 which may make their still capable competition, like the Ontario SP-50 at just $78 [!], more attractive to many buyers and the Swamp Rat Knives shipping rates remain high.
