Favor isn't always fair, but favor is the result of faithfulness. That favor leads to opportunities that would have never been opened otherwise.

Eddie Jacobson asked for a favor because he had favor that then opened the door that was shut otherwise - God's favor lead to the creation of the Jewish state which lead to the fulfillment of biblical prophecy.
