The Dutch city of Leiden is home to the Netherlands' oldest university. Leiden University was founded in 1575 by William the Silent, Prince of Orange, and has had a close relationship with the royal family ever since.

Reporter Ashleigh Elson went to visit the university and find out what such long traditions mean to international students in 2011.
