Devon Allman & Duane Betts play Duane Allman’s Gibson Firebird!!! In this episode, Devon & Duane talk about Floyd Miles, finding their way to the blues, learning in boxes, first guitars, and more.

The guitar in this episode is famous in its own right, the 1963 Polaris White Gibson Firebird was once owned by Duane Allman. The story goes that Duane acquired this guitar while recording Wilson Pickett’s “Hey Jude” album at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals. This guitar and the Fender Stratocaster are both part of the collection at the Songbirds Guitar Museum in Chattanooga, TN.
