Homestuck is a webcomic i grew fond of around the time this video was released. originally a smaller project by Andrew Hussie, it soon spiraled into god-knows-what. you can read it below.

since i was already working on a lot of covers at the time with the goal of learning how to mix properly (with some feedback, both good and bad) i decided to take my melodic musings over the instrumental work of Homestuck's OST at the time. this was the first of the songs i created a "lyricover" for.

i argue nowadays having a theme in mind for these songs isn't the best idea, because it limits YOUR creativity when listening. so i invite you all to dream up better dreams.

although many of the works on this channel are covers, i still put around 40+ hours into each between singing, recording takes, checking the recorded takes, organizing artwork and editing it to video, then uploading and organizing there. the hours go up dramatically if i'm writing lyrics or an entire fan composition, and my more recent works are close to 60-100 hours worth of work each.

i can't tell if the lyrics are organized right or not.
