IBM 5150 Personal Computer | On This Day

On this day, April 24th, 1981. That's when international business machines introduce a basic input output system that would underpin its first ever true personal computer, the IBM 5150. Now, while IBM's PC was far from an industry first, the company's version set a standard for the use case pricing and underlying technology that to this day still permeate almost every brand of computer on the market.
