Metal Detecting a 16th Century Farm for LOST Valuables

Brad finally joined us for a fun filled day of treasure hunting one of the oldest farms in the United States! The land grant for this farm dates back to the 16th Century, YES the 1500's!! Gary was lucky enough to obtain this permission for us (Thank you Gary!) We had a bunch of coils on the ground including Gary, Mark, John, Sean, Brad, and me. We needed it because this farm is over 1,000 Acers of OLD. We located 2 different Iron Patches where old homes once stood. We found some excellent old coins and relics. We were limited to only half of the farm because of crops in the other fields. We think the real early goods are in those fields, but we will have to wait till next year to find out...
