Exploring 2000 Year Old Temple Complex In Peru Desert, Pacachamac

This is an introduction video of Pacachamac, one of Pre Hispanic Peru's most important religious sites in this particular area in what is now present day southern Lima.
This ancient temple complex is massive and hosted four different cultures over it's two thousand year history.
It takes hours to visit this site and it's worth it to hire a guide simply to put things in context. The immense Temple Of The Sun had to be absolutely spectacular to see looking over the Pacific Ocean, sadly the Spanish sacked and looted it. The site has a few more pyramids/temples as well as an Incan road. Fascinating place to visit!
