12 Best Heroes in 7.39c Meta

As of right now, Ursa is one of the best carries because a lot of his counters have moved away from the meta and he’s a fantastic response to most popular core heroes. A lot of the best Offlaners suffer against Ursa during the laning stage.

Juggernaut is my go-to hero right now and with both facets being so good, there really is no wrong way to play him. Of course with Blade Fury being buffed in 7.39, its value in the early-game is massive and revives that classic laning combo of a slow or disable into Blade Fury kill!

Drow Ranger stands tall as one of the few best AGI ranged heroes to play this patch and it really boils down to her ability to ignore natural armor with Marksmanship. Having said that, heroes like Juggernaut, Ursa and Sven pretty much eat her alive so heads-up on when to pick her.

Yes, Queen of Pain is still good BUT her Bondage facet is seeing a lot of popularity because of the nerfs made to her Masochist facet. The kicker is that Queen of Pain opts for Blade Mail instead Dagon and your innate ability spell lifesteal works on that Blademail Reflected damage.

Yes, Puck is still good and for the same reasons as always. This hero has been meta for the entirety of 7.37, 7.38 and for 7.39 and mostly because the hero hasn’t really been touched in a meaningful way.

While Invoker’s Exort Agent of Gallaron did technically get nerfed in 7.39, it also was buffed. For starters, Exort did have its damage nerfed through Aghs Scepter not giving any more points in Exort and that the Cataclysm ability had its cooldown increased.

Heroes like Axe are really keen about not necessarily killing the enemy Safelaner but about always being a threat and keeping enemy on the backfoot and if all else fails, these kind of Offlane heroes can easily farm the side-jungle camp behind the Tier 1 tower to really energize their mid-game itemization.

Legion Commander loves dominating their lane, grabbing Blade Mail to hasten their farm AND also to guarantee kills when Dueling and then pressure the map akin to Axe.

Another Blade Mail Offlaner to farm it up and be globally available for any gank. That is Dawnbreaker, no different than, say, Centaur Warrunner who can contribute to fights without having to waste time sticking with the team.

Spirit Breaker really comes into the meta fold because the hero is especially powerful in a meta that revolves around map pressure. With heroes like Axe, Legion Commander and more, Spirit Breaker helps continue to provide a global presence with a consistent level of ganking initiation through his Charge of Darkness.

WHO INVENTED THIS HERO AND WHY DOES HE CONTINUE TO EXIST ON THIS GODDAMN PLANET?? There is no wrong answer to playing Shadow Shaman. Go ahead and play him as a safelane support, throw him in the offlane as a soft support, playing him like a little bitch that throws out his giant-ass snake ward at random towers and watch the enemy team just crumble.

7.39c nerfed Nature’s Prophet to have a bit less scaling heal in his level 15 talent and reduce the damage from his Aghs Shard ability: Curse of the Oldgrowth. All that said, him as a support in 7.39 is still one of the best in the game because he’s still a great trader in the lane and his Soothing Saplings facet makes that all the more easier.
