In this Canva tutorial, I’ll show you how to add a smooth zoom effect to a frame in Canva using Canva’s video editor, frames, and Match & Move transitions — perfect for presentations, reels, and short videos.

I begin by placing an image of a street scene onto a video canvas in Canva. I then duplicate the image and place each copy one after the other on the timeline. The second image is scaled up to zoom in on a specific area of the picture for a close-up effect.

Next, I add frames beneath both images and carefully align the images inside them. Once everything is positioned correctly, I apply a Match & Move transition between the two frames. This creates a clean, cinematic zoom-in animation.

I also show how to adjust the transition duration to make the zoom slower or faster, depending on your project. Finally, I demonstrate how to export the finished design as an MP4 video.

This technique is ideal for tutorials, storytelling videos, social media content, and dynamic Canva presentations.
