Hey there, RP-1 Nation!

There are 16.5 million #veterans here in the US. While the VAST majority of my peer group are high functioning and successful members of society, tens of thousands of my brothers and sisters are #homeless. Thousands of homeless and at-risk veterans are right here in #Texas. Far more feel like they're on the verge of homelessness than any organization can count. Meanwhile, our peer group loses dozens per DAY to suicide.

I'm riding 1,000 miles around the State of Texas, not just to inform people of our situation, but to offer up my own solutions, and my vision for a homestead that partners with schools, entrepreneurs, and other networks to #endveteranhomelessness . I call it "RP-1, Texas". and this is the "Ride For Rally Point" #RideForRallyPoint #RFRP

I am huge fan of #history. My family has been in #Texas for generations, and #texashistory ranks near the top of my interests. So, while #Trooper and I journey around the great State of Texas on the #RFRP, I like to stop and read #historicalmarkers and other #monuments. Almost entirely unrehearsed, I'll read along and maybe provide a reaction while we all learn together. I sincerely hope you enjoy these history lessons as much as I enjoy making them.
