How to Perform a Hoffman's Test - Inverted Supinator Sign - Clonus - Hyperreflexia

Here is a young man who had an incomplete spinal cord injury 5 months ago. In this video we demonstrate some of the most common tests we perform with patients we suspect have an upper motor neuron lesions. He has the following:
✅ Positive Hoffman's test/sign
✅ Positive Inverted Supinator Sign
✅ Clonus in the ankle
✅ Upper extremity and lower extremity hyperreflexia
✅ Slight gait imbalance

I have personally seen these findings in patients with:
▶ MS
▶ TBI
▶ Spinal cord injury (cervical spine)
▶ Hyperthyroidism
▶ Anxiety
▶ Cervical spinal stenosis
