VENOMOUS or NOT??? Milk Snakes!

Check out these beautiful snakes! Although we had to fight with such a windy day, we had great success flipping these beautiful milk snakes in some spectacular habitat in southern Oklahoma! These lovely little snakes spend most of their time tucked in burrows under rocks and logs in this area and come up to the surface to warm up underneath toasty rocks. I was super pumped to find not one, but four separate milk snakes all with different patterning and dispositions! What a treat! Have you ever seen a milk snake?
