Amazon Fire Tablet with Water Damage

This Amazon Fire table was left outside in the garden when it was raining by my friends dad he ask me if I could have a look for him

I know that it will turn on but has a message when charging it up saying your tablet has been temporarily disabled due to moisture or liquid detection
with some tips of what to try

Things to try
Turn the tablet off hold the tablet facing the port facing down and shake it for around 10 seconds or until liquid isn't visibly present on the charging port

Bury the tablet in rice in a air tight container and leave for 48 hours to dry out

After making sure it's dry and still not working I went on to opening the tablet up to have a look inside I found corrosion battery terminal I clean all the corrosion I could find with alcohol 99.9% and test it out after and it seem to of work I left it charging for a bit just to make sure and when I was happy with it I put it back together and test it out by playing a game and made sure that the buttons were working on the outside of the tablet
