What is biochar, and how does using it improve soil fertility? Let's find out. In this video, we'll take a look at what biochar is, as well as explore some of the benefits it brings to our soil and the plants. We'll see how it promotes and helps microbes. Microorganisms which are very beneficial to our gardens, lawns, trees, and shrubs. I'll show how I inoculate the biochar, and talk a little about some organic fertilizers and compost I often use with it. Information about selecting biochar and applying it to soil is also included.
