This is but the opinion of one man. I feel like the bayonet charge copied and pasted into BFV feels... off. What has changed? Are we happy with the current iteration of the ability?

I wanted to make this video to bring more attention to a seemingly forgettable combat feature/specialisation in Battlefield V, that doesn't feel like it "fits" currently with the gameplay of the game as well as it did in BF1.


TL;DW: The BFV bayonet charge no longer sprints faster than the BF1 version, taking away a chunk of its tactical application in the game. I believe that giving back this movement speed would give it back some usefulness, however I also think that the specialisation needs to be given something more to draw more attention to it. At present, there's almost no reason to choose it over other specialisations due to the lower TTK in BFV making bayonet charges suicide.
