Exploring the Forgotten Ruins of Rattray, Aberdeenshire

The abandoned ruins of what used to be Coastguard service houses near Rattray head lighthouse. Home to the observers who would have manned the now obsolete look out post. The dunes have built up high so even if the look out post was still needed it wouldn't have much of a view.

I came across this little find whilst I was heading to Rattray head lighthouse, you can see that video on the channel, it was a nice little addition to a little explore around part of Aberdeenshire on the NE250 route.
