PHILLIES KAREN Goes Too Far!? STEALS Ball From 10-Year-Old Boy!?

After a young baseball fan’s special moment turned sour, his favorite team went above and beyond to make it up to him.
As the Philadelphia Phillies worked to secure a win over the Miami Marlins on Friday, Sept. 5, Harrison Bader hit a home run, leading to some commotion at Miami’s LoanDepot Park, as captured by NBC Sports Philadelphia. After several Phillies fans attempted to grab the home-run ball, one fan secured it before walking back to his spot several seats over to give it to a young boy, dropping it in his glove and giving him a big hug. But the young fan didn’t have the ball for long.
Almost immediately after the man had the baseball, another fan — who, seconds earlier, had attempted to grab the same left-field homer — followed him back to his seat, where she grabbed his arm and appeared to berate him, the viral footage shows. Fan-captured videos also offer a closer look, and reveal some of what was said between the two attendees.

The father who chased down a home run ball for his son at a Phillies game, only to have another fan demand it from him, is speaking out.
“I was already ecstatic, like got Bader’s home run ball, and I get to put it in my son’s glove and that was, it was already enough,” Feltwell told NBC News in an interview Saturday, flanked by his children. “You know, and then, then here she comes.”
“Something touched my arm, and then she just screamed in my ear, ‘That’s my ball,’ like, so loud,” Feltwell said. Feltwell appeared shaken by the confrontation, the video shows. After a brief interaction, he plucks the ball out of his son’s mitt and hands it to the woman in the Phillies jersey.
He said he made the decision because he did not want to do something he’d regret in front of his kids.
“There was kind of a fork in the road, like, I’m gonna go one direction and then probably regret,” Feltwell said. “Or go this direction and do something in front of my kids that, you know, like a teaching moment.”

“Ok everyone,” Cheryl Richardson-Wagner posted on Facebook Saturday. “I’m NOT the crazy Philly Mom (but I sure would love to be as thin as she is and move as fast)… and I’m a Red Sox fan!”
But the woman’s identity remains a mystery — and Richardson-Wagner said it’s definitely not her.
“We are really upset that someone would make such a ridiculous claim,” one Facebook user commented on her post. “Cheryl we got your back.”
“Omg!” another user — and seemingly an acquaintance — added. “How did they even involve you in this? I would never see you taking a ball from a child! Crazy!”
Richardson-Wagner wasn’t the only one setting the record straight.
The Hammonton School District in New Jersey, where digital sleuths claimed the much maligned Phillies fan allegedly worked, also cleared the air on Saturday.
