Four people were killed and ten others were injured in a Stockton mass shooting along Lucile Avenue near Thornton Road, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office. The violence happened just before 6 p.m. and may have been a targeted incident. The victims range from juveniles to adults. Stockton Vice Mayor Jason Lee said the shooting happened during a child’s birthday party at an ice cream shop and called the impact on families and neighbors heartbreaking.
