Another infamous biscuit test but this time on a 325 gallon smoker pit. Lit the pit up, albeit we did have some issues with our firewood being a little too wet from all the rains but we still managed a consistent heat to at least bake these biscuits.

I ran the temp around the 250 degrees range with little to no difference from the left and right gauge and baked/smoked these for a total time of 22 minutes approximately.

You’ll note the color consistency from the right to left on the biscuits on the main cooking grates which demonstrates the evenness of the cook chamber once you have established your coal bed. The other thing you’ll notice is the size of your coal bed. That’s because the firebox is insulated which yields more usage of each split you place in it. When compared to standard non-insulated fireboxes our units can save you anywhere from 40-50% in firewood consumption.
