One of the things that Cults do is to “indoctrinate people into believing that people outside of the cult are wrong.”

How I saw this play out in SCJ was, they taught that pastors are being used by the devil to teach false doctrines and our loved ones are also being used by the devil to persecute you because you are supposedly receiving the true teachings (which by the way is actually false teachings).

Upon hearing that, I eventually left my church and didn’t feel close to my family members like I did before. I started to feel lonely which at that I didn’t know was isolation.
