Описание к видео Reparenting your Inner Vulnerable Male Child – He/Him/They

What is the inner child?
The inner child is part of our mind that stores all of our emotions & experience from childhood. So even though we are no longer in childhood…think of it as a Lense through which we experience a lot of our current experiences. A lot if time this lens or these wounded places, parts of ourselves get triggered in our daily life by people, relationships or situations.
So these are wounded parts of our selves which are almost stuck at their young age and still contributing to what we are doing on a daily bases.
So what we need to understand that when we are in childhood, usually around 1 to 8 years of age…we are in a altered state of consciousness…and that altered state of consciousness has an egocentric meaning or views….so what that means that we filter everything through self-assigned meaning…for example
Dad comes home from work everyday in a grumpy mood…so we are not worthy. Or good enough
It is IMPORTANT TO remember that this inner child is part of ourselves and not our whole self. ..…and as adults we can heal them and ….be aware of these wounded child parts …this is NOT YOURSLEF…THIS IS A PART OF YOU…THE SELF NOW IN THE ADULTHOOD IS THE AWARNESS…IS BEING ABLE TO OBERVE this is a reaction that coming from a very old hurt part from my childhood & it might not reflect the reality.
It is really important to cultivate that awareness …we can do that by being observant or talking to a friend or a therapist… we can also help heal or inner child ….
What is reparenting?
Each of us… in our adulthood are really responsible for teaching ourselves the skills to and meeting many of our needs that did not get met when we were children. So those of you who are listening and even if you didn’t have dig glaring or traumatic or bad things happen in your childhood. Chances are that you were not fully given so many of the tools to succeed and grown really ….in many areas of your life. so now is the time to give those things to ourselves and meet hose of our needs which were unmet in childhood.
Now I was recently asked by one of my clients. Does every human being essentially need to re-parent? And my answer to that qs was…yes, pretty much all of us need to re-parent ourselves.
So what are those simple skills that we can develop…and what are these areas?
I want to acknowledge the reasons why we were either not taught or given these in our childhood is that our parents themselves did not get those as a result of their own parenting experiences from their own parent.
We can not teach things, offer those things even to our children if we don’t offer those things to us first …given them to ourselves…
