We finally arrive at our destination Akakura Onsen in Myoko Kogen 1 hour from Nagano, we arrive at our hotel "Star Hotel" top of the street and close to everything it was best location and still quiet. After we unpack we put our snowboards together and race down to Kanko ski resort for the afternoon , we bought a half day ski pass for about $20 USD as we got discount through the hotel about 15% so make sure you ask at the reception of your hotel as they will have discount vouchers available. After our first session in years we get back to our hotel for a " Onsen" and a few drinks before we headed out for dinner at " Kamakura" a Takoyaki restaurant right across the road from us.
