NOTES

You may or may not have noticed that starting from the last video, I am no longer putting the "(and [other vocalist's name])" in the actual video. Though this might be a minor detail that few will notice, it's something I've thought about for a while now. This series is specifically about the harsh female vocalist in a band (whether she is doing lead or backing vocals) and so, to include the other vocalist(s) names in the actual videos feels unnecessary. I have often felt that these extra names were cluttering the screen, especially when there were multiple other vocalists, or if the other vocalist had a really long name. I will, however, continue to include these other names in video description because I feel that it is important to acknowledge the other person (or people) contributing to the vocals. I will also make a specific note (here in the notes section) if the female vocalist in the video is not the lead vocalist or if something needs to be clarified. This has been a rather long explanation for something that is actually rather simple, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knows where I'm coming from. On that note...:
In SubRosa, Rebecca Vernon does most of the vocals, however they are not harsh. Kim Pack does occasional backing soprano vocals, and Sarah Pendleton does a variety of vocals (usually clean, but some harsh, as the clip chosen for this video shows).
