Hello everyone!
Every year on the eve of Christmas and New Year, an ice rink is installed in Wiesbaden. The rink is located next to the Kurhaus.
We decided to visit the Kurhaus during these pre-holiday days, to admire the unique Christmas tree made from flowers, the "Christmas Star", and the beauty of the foyer of the building itself.

The Kurhaus building was built in 1907 under the direction of Friedrich von Thiersch.
The opening of the Kurhaus took place in the presence of Wilhelm II and was presented to the attention of vacationers in all its glory. The Wiesbaden Casino, which was visited by celebrities of that time, was located in the Kurhaus.

After World War II and restoration work, the Kurhaus building was reopened in 1987.
Today the building hosts various exhibitions, national congresses, seminars and conferences.

Next to the Kurhaus and the theatre there is an open-air ice rink, which we decided to visit.
