Its been a minute since i made a beat that I loved off rip, but it finally happened. This already is in contention for my favorite beat that ive made all time. Love the smooth 1st half, really more CMIYGL inspired with the bongos and shiii. I wanted to work on actually chopping samples rather than only looping them, and I did both on this beat, which made the sample fit better imo. I Absolutely love the switch on this, the sample and piano just flow right into the 2nd half, then the distorted synth bass and synth chords/arp comes in. Really was going for a distorted feeling on the 2nd half, and i realize that some people might not fw it but I love it. I just hope YouTube dont compress tf outta this. as always, lmk how to improve and if you want the beat email me or DM me on Instagram... peace.
