Ingredients
For dough
150 g butter
150 g sour cream
350 g wheat flour
1/8 tsp. baking powder (or until enough)
Pinch salt

For cream
300 g butter
750 ml milk
200 g sugar
120 g flour (or until enough)
Lemon zest from ½ lemon
Juice from 1 lemon
50 g. crushed walnuts
Few drops almond essence

For top
2 crushed layers
Coconut flakes
50 g dried cranberries

Layers
4 tbsp cranberry jam (or until enough)

Napoleon Cake is a classic Russian cake, made of very thin and flaky puff pastry cake layers and a smooth, rich and luscious pastry cream in between the layers. Super old and tasty recipe. My grandmother shares this recipe. A good friend told my grandmother this recipe. That good friend got this recipe from even an older person. Legendary Napoleon Cake. Cheers!
