Make your own oil seals and repair a Chinese tractor hydraulic pump fix

Part 2 here (    • Chinese tractor hydraulic pump repair...   ) I made this video (the first on my new channel) to show you how I solve a problem which happened when a hydraulic oil pumps seals failed due to over heating after one of the levers on the tractor was accidently left in pump position with no where for the oil to go.
I had previously replaced the o rings about 3 months ago to stop oil leaking from the pump and at the same time I fixed a problem the tractor had with low hydraulic pressure, this turned out be the relief valve which had been damaged from a previous time the lever had accidentally been moved and left in a pumping position with nothing connected meaning the oil had nowhere to go other than through the relief valve causing the bonded rubber seal to be damaged. I replaced the damaged seal with a steel ball from a bearing I had in the scrap bin, the relief valve works a treat now.
