Essentially Cadillac has created a dual–purpose street car that can offer repeatable on-track performance with an insane amount of horsepower and reliability.

For 2016; the CTS-V is lighter than the previous generation and the power delivery is more linear and the manual transmission has been dropped completely as the 8-speed automatic is the only choice. The 2016 Cadillac CTS-V is powered by a Supercharged 6.2 liter V-8 that pumps out 640 horsepower and 630 lb-ft. of torque.
