​What did we build?

​We partnered with Kotlin User Group Chennai to introduce you to the Kotlin ecosystem

​Kotlin is a modern, easy-to-learn programming language that's great for both Android development and server-side applications. This session is ideal for those with a basic understanding of Kotlin and who want to apply their skills to server-side development.

​Together, we've cover

​- Setting up your development environment for Kotlin
​- Using Ktor, a lightweight framework for building server applications in Kotlin
​- Creating simple routes that handle GET and POST requests
​Working with JSON to process and respond to client data
​- Running and testing your server on your local machine

​By the end of this session, we built a few APIs, integrated the Mongo database, and understood Kotlin at a deeper level
