7kg restrictions in two bags was not checked but they asked about my outbound fly from Thailand which Thai immigration hasn't never done BTW.
My backpack was probably 10kg and almost fully packed but luckily I did not have to throw away my avocados.
It seems to be the same with other airlines from experience of other people.
