Paper is easy to get a hold of. It is inexpensive. Quick to burn. And fun to experiment with. This video shows just a few things I have done recently using paper. I hope to get some heavier paper and make a couple cards.
I have found that cutting basic white printer paper works well at 800 mm/min at 100% power on my 5.5 watt Genmitsu LE5040 laser. One trick that I have been working on is to use 2 sheet of paper and I find that reduces the scorching on the back of the paper from the waste board.
