Learn how to make an invisible, double-sided cast on. This cast on is wonderful for toe up socks, rectangular/square blankets, purses/bags, hooded scarves and so much more. It can also be used as a provisional cast on.

I recommend doing this cast on 32" [80 cm] or longer circular needles, for easily working the first round. For small numbers of stitches (less than 10 total), you may use double point needles, but may find the first row a little difficult to work, due to the less flexible nature of double point needles.
