MANOVATHI By ARUNDHATHI VASISHTA

Arundhathi Vasishta, also familiar with name Anusha bhat, as a child prodigy started her career at the tender age of 3. Being a disciple of stalwart Pt. Kaivalya Kumar Gurav in hindusthani classical has performed throughout India on prestigious platforms. She's been titled as KALARATHNA by Karnataka State Govt in 2002. She has won the contest conducted by QYUKI a renowned media company owned by A R RAHMAN and SHEKHAR KAPOOR. She's been entitled as the winner of BANDSTAND by FORUM mall, Bengaluru. These are just only a few of her long list of accomplishments.

MANOVATHI is a New Raag created by Arundhathi, as a humble offering to the world of music, with the blessings of Sri GURU.

Manovathi is made with Aaroh of Kalaavathi, i.e.
Sa Ga Pa Da Ni(komal) Sa,
with the melodious addition in Avaroh, of Ma, Ma(theevr) & Re.. I.e.
Sa Ni(komal) Da Pa Da Ma(theevr) Ga Ma(shuddh) Re Sa
In this Raag, Sa can be considered as Vaadi and Pa as Samvaadi.
The Bandish composed in this raag which is presented in the video, "Saajan mora ath pyaara" is also written by the singer. It depicts the various faces of relationships between the musically immersed partners-in-life. It is also a mark of the successful completion of their first year of togetherness.
