大阪府 堺市・羽曳野市・藤井寺市には、
巨大前方後円墳が集中している
百舌鳥･古市古墳群がある。
古墳時代という、いにしえの日本に出会える
とても貴重な場所である。

百舌鳥･古市古墳群は今、
世界文化遺産登録をめざしている。

Mozu-Furuichi Kofungun Ancient Tumulus Clusters
Sakai City, Habikino City, Fujiidera City, Osaka Prefecture

The cities of Sakai, Habikino and Fujiidera are home to
the large keyhole-shaped burial mounds of
the Mozu-Furuichi Kofungun Ancient Tumulus Clusters.
They are important sites for capturing a glimpse
into Japan’s ancient past and their high historical value is
guiding efforts to gain registration as a World Heritage.
