Hello beautiful people. This is Unclecode and in this video, I demonstrate how to use my Groq-function-call-proxy to build an AI assistant, using a cinema assistant as an example.

The cinema assistant can suggest movies based on user preferences, find showtimes, and book tickets.
I integrate GroqCall.ai (previously FunckyCall.ai) with the PhiData library to enhance existing AI/ML workflows.

1/ Since Groq currently doesn't have a function call feature, I built this proxy to enable developers to benefit from Groq's high-performance Language Processing Unit (LPU) in production.
2/ Through code examples and live demonstrations, I provide a step-by-step guide on building your own AI assistant using GroqCall.ai and PhiData.
3/I invite the community to contribute to the GroqCall.ai open-source project on GitHub (https://github.com/unclecode/groqcall) and help maintain the repository.
4/ Future plans for GroqCall.ai include:
Building a function hub where the proxy can detect and execute tools needed by the LLM to answer user queries on the fly, simplifying the codebase.
Adding support for vision, audio, and images to expand the capabilities of GroqCall.ai.
