Volvo XC90 Front Strut & Spring Replacement DIY (2003-2014 P2 Volvo XC90 R-Design, V8, 3.2)

►The first-generation Volvo XC90 is an easily acquired and generally reliable choice of transportation, known for exceeding well over 200,000 miles without much fuss. However, every XC90 needs proper maintenance, including suspension work. A strut and spring replacement is critical to maintaining a safe and comfortable suspension system, and it isn't a tough job either. Your Volvo's suspension is specifically designed to give off a signature European feel, but that feel weakens as mileage increases. Eventually, the car will lean, roll, and bounce far more than it ever should, reducing your ability to control it safely.

With a few simple tools and maybe a friend, you can replace the front struts and springs in no time.
