We ride on Union Pacific rails from rural Elburn to Chicago utilizing 2 separate trains on the journey. Beautiful day. Interlocking switch plants are noted but I may have missed a few. Metra consists on former C&NW lines are operated by the Union Pacific and crews are employed by same. (if I read any signal indications, they may not necessarily be correct. (The indications I am reading of based on my home railroad the Long Island Railroad but in the Midwest they are not the same.)
