The $600 Golden State Stimulus 2 payments have been delayed. Originally if you were expecting your golden state stimulus 2 check to be direct deposited they stated that those would be complete by October 15th. If you didn’t get your payment today that doesn’t mean you’re not getting it. The deadline for the GSS2 payments to be direct deposited has been delayed, they now expect the Golden State Stimulus 2 checks to be direct deposited by October 31st. If you are waiting on a paper check for your Golden State Stimulus 2 payment, you can expect your check by January 11th, 2022.

I think everyone should be able to get ahold of the CA EDD for free, I still advocate calling (833) 978-2511 the best days to call the EDD are Tuesday through Saturday, the best times to call the EDD are right when they open at 8:00 to 8:15 or later in the afternoon around 2:30 - 4:00 then after the long intro message quickly hit 1,3,4.
