Classic Actors | Midnight City

Описание к видео Classic Actors | Midnight City

A tribute to my favorite male actors of the Old Hollywood era (so far). This is a pretty pointless video, really, but their lovely faces make me happy. :)

I hope you like it.

►ACTORS INCLUDED (in order of appearance):

. James Dean – Sex on legs.
. Robert Taylor – They say he was the man with the perfect profile. I say he was the man with the perfect everything.
. Gene Kelly – The greatest dancer that ever lived and one of my favorite people ever to walk the face of the Earth.
. Joel McCrea – I don't know him very well, but I like what I do know.
. George Peppard – He will always be Fred-baby to me.
. Gary Cooper – Sex on legs #2. Tallulah Bankhead said that she only took the role in "Devil and the Deep" because she wanted "to fuck that divine Gary Cooper". Even though I dislike her immensely and think that that was a very unladylike thing to say, I can totally see why she said it.
. Tyrone Power – I read somewhere this comment about him: "Tyrone Power – the leading man who was always prettier than his leading ladies". I agree.
. Cary Grant – King.
. Gregory Peck – His voice and his smile make me all tingly inside.
. Fred Astaire – He did everything Ginger Rogers did, except forwards and in flats.
. Peter Lawford – The accent!
. Tony Curtis – Am I the only one who thinks he looks wonderful in drag?
. Spencer Tracy – I wish he and Katharine Hepburn had had a child together. Think of the talent!
. Clark Gable – That crooked smile of yours knocks me off of my feet.
. Rock Hudson – I call him Rock Handsome. He's also known as Mr. Candy.
. William Powell – The man Myrna Loy should have married.
. James Stewart – The kindest, sweetest and dorkiest man Hollywood will ever meet and my number one man of the Old Hollywood era.
. Humphrey Bogart – I would have loved to find out if he really knew how to whistle.
. Marlon Brando – Sex on legs #3.
. Van Johnson – My Charles.
. James Cagney – The way he says 'honey' in "Blonde Crazy" is one of the best things I've ever heard.
. Montgomery Clift – We all need a bit of Monty in our lives, don't we?
. Frank Sinatra – The Chairman of the Board. I call him Frankie.
. Dana Andrews – That smile of his is one of the cutest things I've seen.
. William Holden – What a dashing man he was!
. Jack Lemmon – Daphne is one of the best characters in the history of cinema.
. Warren Beatty – The only person in this list who is still alive. Is that weird?
. Dean Martin – Frank Sinatra's better half.
