1. Copy of all medical records
2. Itemized bills with codes
3. Make sure 1 & 2 coincide
4. Check prices against national averages
5. Make sure insurance paid bills properly
6. Consult with Patient advocate or online groups for help
7. Sue them in Small claims court

All patients must fight back!! As Dr Marty Mckary reports in his research, in 2017 alone the hospitals in the state of Virginia filed 20,000 lawsuits against patients.
