What is an ECTN Certificate?
All shipments to the Republic of the Congo must have an ECTN as part of the loading documentation. It also goes by the name BSC. It is necessary for all ports, including Yombo, Pointe Noire, Djeno, and N'kossa Terminal.
The Republic of the Congo Customs Officials decided to make it a policy in 2008. Serious repercussions and a hefty fee will result from failing to deliver the ECTN document.

Required Documents:
▶︎ Bill of Lading: A draft copy can be used for the draft.
▶︎ Commercial Invoice – Incoterm and the values have to match with TI document
▶︎ Freight Invoice: It is necessary if the freight cost isn’t on the commercial invoice.
▶︎ GUOT Document – Values must be the same as the commercial and freight invoices.
