From Los Angeles to the rivers of Ghana, Rocky shows why water is life, and why millions still lack access to it. Today, 2.2 billion people still live without safely managed drinking water and over 2 billion face water stress every year. Unsafe water, sanitation and hygiene still claim 1,000 children’s lives every day.

But water is also under threat from plastic pollution, which flows from land to rivers and seas, harming ecosystems, blocking drainage systems in cities like Accra, and exposing people to microplastics in food, water, and even the human body.

No country can solve this crisis alone - it requires global cooperation, just transitions for vulnerable communities, and bold action across the plastics value chain.

Rocky’s call is simple: protect water, end plastic pollution, and act in solidarity. Together, we can #BeatPlasticPollution, secure clean water for all, and ensure a healthier planet.
