Shooting practice as hunting practice with Randy Newberg and Howa Rifles

Randy Newberg, Hunter spends an afternoon with Matt Hornback, competitive shooter and marketing communications manager for Howa Rifles. Matt is an accomplished shooter and serious hunter.

Randy has asked Matt to give ideas that will help him during his summer shooting practice that is intended for hunting situations. Bench rest shooting is fun. Hunting shots are not from a bench.

Matt starts with the lowest position possible, tuning his stance to get as many points of contact as possible, adding to that his concept of push/pull.

This is the first or many videos Randy will produce that shows him shooting his hunting rifles, with hunting ammunition, in realistic hunting scenarios. Hunting practice makes hunting shots easier.
