Farmers Reject Government's Proposal, Major Protest Looming on 21st

The ongoing deadlock between the government and the farmers, predominantly from Punjab, seems to be far from a resolution. As the farmers rebuff the Center's proposal, they assert that the recommendations will not benefit them. The farmers insist on a Minimum Support Price (MSP) for all 23 crops. In response to the rejection, the farmers are planning to resume their 'Delhi shadow march,' intensifying the existing protest. The escalation point is set for the 21st of February. The SKM non-political, despite many rounds of negotiations, has declared that the protest will proceed as planned. In further developments, the proposal pertaining to crop diversification has also been completely discarded, putting additional pressure on the government.
