Sri Lanka Planetarium is a public planetarium located in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is the first and only planetarium in the country and maintained as an institute under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Research.

Located in the Sri Lankan capital of Colombo, Sri Lanka Planetarium is the first and only planetarium in the country. This planetarium was established on 1 February 1965 as a part of Ceylon industrial exhibition. Today, this planetarium presents educational and other astronomical shows for the science buffs. This place can accommodate up to 500 persons and the seats are arranged centrically. Some of the most famous features of this planetarium are the Night Sky, Mobile Planetarium, Science Exhibitions, Workshops and Seminars, and Astro Labs. This is a great place for students to explore more in the field of science as well as learn about the inter-planetary system.
