Another Competition Smoker for Team "Buck Shotz Country Cookers".
This Competition series Drum is outfitted with 2 doors to access both sides of the grates. Additionally, we outfitted the UDS with a Rotisserie for Competition Chicken..
The Fire Basket set up is the best on the market. With the Heat Shield and the Block off plate installed, the 12x12 square expanded metal basket seats snuggly inside and is capped off the an adjustable Pinwheel Damper .
This setup allows for better temperature control, elimnates heat spikes that occur from opening and closing the lid and forces the majority of the air to go through the fire instead of cold air creeping up the sides of the drum giving you an uneven cooking chamber and by having a smoother burning fire, your going to have cleaner smoke for better tasting food.
We installed a third intake n the rear to house the Lavalock Temperature controller. This is Cruise Control for your Fire Basket. Set your Temp, fly to Vegas, leave what happened in Vegas in Vegas. Fly back home, and your temperature is the same as when you left it.
