D’Gary is the country’s most renowned artist and can be considered the best guitar player of his country. Singer Monica Njava is the national diva and the young Joël Rabesolo is the leading Malagasy guitarist of his generation. Deeply rooted in the rich musical traditions of south western Madagascar, their music is composed and performed with exquisite artistry.
