M.Wang Peisheng here performing his version of the Taiji Shisan Dan.
Wang acquired the Taiji Shisan Dan from his blood brother Guo Ruizhou (a disciple of Li Ruidong, founder of Li Style Tajiiquan). Thanks to Taiping Dao.

've combined the two VCD parts together and changed the music (the original soundtrack was a funny one indeed). We tend to see the Taijiquan curriculum as just empty-hands forms, weapon forms, Tuishou. That's it? How a martial art can be just that? in fact, what we know of Taijiquan is very little.

Coming from YiQuan or Taikiken we may see some resemblances to Mocabu, YiQuan stepping exercises, when we will watch the video here. Not really about the technique but about the kind of freedom of moving the body through the space, with some kind of attacking and retreating attitude. These kinds of exercises that we may have seen only in YiQuan are in fact an important component of any traditional GongFu style. Every tradition has its own that develops those qualities that that particular tradition wants to use in combat. Therefore, if you are following a path and you want to achieve the qualities of that tradition is imperative to follow only those exercises that will develop that. Nothing else until full completion.

Shisan Dan and Shisan Shi are just names. It's important to understand that the original curriculum of Taijiquan was quite vast and complex. It included stepping, hitting, jumping, ground, breathing, tools, and fast exercises routine. For many reasons today those exercises are almost lost, are really hard to find and even more to find them well performed and well explained.
